This LavaLite is the 6th in my collection, and it works like my 1st LavaLite which I purchased 21 yrs ago and still use daily. It takes a little longer to heat up and get going, but the results are larger blobs with slow/easy motion until it gets too hot after about 8 - 10 hrs of use. I have given these lites away as gifts also, so I guess you can say I have had a lot more. I am waiting to take delivery of my yellow/purple Grande as it is being shipped as I write this and that will be my 7th Li

I love this lava lamp i have had it for about a week at Specers Gifts for about 20 bucks, and there are no problems. It only takes about 3 hours to get to it most "lava-y" point and it changes color too!

This was the second lamp I bought. It is also my second favorite. Someday, I hope to add more of this size lamps to my collection, which is growing slowly...I'm up to six total now and three of them are of this color of liquid and wax (I have the 10", 14.5" and 16.3"). Thanks for making these wonderful creations!
